Eduational Multi-Use Space
Elmwood Franklin School | Buffalo, New York
Creating a comfortable learning environment means considering not only how a space looks, but how it sounds. At Elmwood Franklin School in Buffalo, I developed tailored acoustic solutions designed to improve the learning environment while complementing the school’s interior design and visual identity.
The project included on-site measurements, acoustic analysis, scaled 3D layouts, and product research and specification. Custom elements—including a tree-inspired acoustic canopy, ceiling clouds, felt discs, and school-branded artwork—were integrated with wall planters and acoustic wall treatments to bring together sound absorption, functionality, and design.
From initial assessment through product coordination and installation of selected elements, the focus was on creating a cohesive solution that supports the needs of the space without sacrificing its character.
